PARACHINAR: Residents of Mosazai tribe showed reservation over the survey conducted for the calculation of correct figure of the damaged houses during the layer of terrorism in the area.
They told media persons that because of terrorism in the 2009 and 2010 they left their respective areas for the safety of their families and in 2012 the survey was conducted when they returned to their areas in which the government identify that more than 2500 houses were damaged and still they were not paid from the government to repair their houses.
Resident of Mosazai Abdul Khaliq said that government promised them that their damaged house will be rebuild after their return to their native towns and it initiated survey and identify 2500 houses that were damaged but they were not paid. Now the government conducted another survey and declared that only 300 houses damaged and excluded the other houses which were reconstructed by masses on their own.
They demanded from the government to review the survey result as it will destroying the rights of the masses and asked the government to fulfill its promise regarding the reconstruction of their damaged house.
While contacting the Political Muharrar Shahid Malik told The Frontier Post that erstwhile survey which was conducted in 2012 without any policy but the recent survey was initiated with the proper policy and according to it the owner of fully damaged house will receive Rs four Lakh and partially damaged will receive Rs150000 for their damages.
The political administration was trying to provide maximum facilities to the deserving people and for this purpose survey 2017 will be conducted under Citizen Losses Compensation Program and in this regard a team was established which was compromising of teacher, Malik, Army official and one journalist with the aim to ensure the merit in this regard.
