Sports Stadium Inside Kurram Agency School Affecting Students’ Studies

SADDA, 15 November: The sports activities inside the stadium in Government High School Bagan in Kurram Agency are affecting the studies of the students.
Headmaster of the school, Syed Rahim and teachers said a large number of sportsmen come to the stadium for different sports activities which divert the attention of the school students from their studies. The teachers said they had told the administration about the negative impacts of the sports stadium in the school, but they ignored the advice and went ahead with the project. They said the noise created by the sportsmen makes it hard for the students and teachers to concentrate on studies.
On the other hand, the area people and sportsmen are very happy with the establishment of the sports stadium. They said there was no such facility in the area due to which the local sportsmen were facing difficulties.
“The youth and elders of the area are very happy that healthy activities are taking place in the region due to establishment of the sports stadium. The stadium has facilities of football ground, volleyball and basketball courts and athletics field. We are very thankful to the administration for paying heed to the problems of the sportsmen and providing platform to them to polish their talent,” a local resident, Mukesh told TNN.
Political Moharrar Ashiq said the FATA Secretariat Officials had selected this site for the stadium. He said it was the best suitable site for the establishment of the sports stadium. He said the local sportsmen have been strictly directed not to come to the stadium in the morning time and avoid making noise which may divert the students’ attention from their studies.
The stadium was completed by the FATA Secretariat with the cooperation of the political administration at the cost of Rs7 million last year.

د کرمي ايجنسئ ګورنمنټ هائي سکول بګن کښي دننه د لوبو سټيډيئم جوړولو له وجي د طالبعلمانو زده کړي متاثره کيږي۔ د ياد سکول هيډماسټر سيد رحيم اواستاذانو وينا ده چي سټيډيئم له وجي دوي ته فائدي په ځائي نقصان ميلاويږي ځکه چي دي ته بهر نه مقامي لوبغاړي راځي او هغوي لوبو او شور له وجي طالبعلمان په صحيح توګه سبق نه شي وئيلي۔ دوي زياته کړي ده چي څو واري ئي انتظاميي ته وئيلي وو چي سکول دننه دي سټډيئم نه شي جوړولي ولي بيا ئي هم جوړ کړو۔
بل اړخ ته د مقامي خلقو او لوبغاړو وينا ده چي دي سټيډيئم له وجي دوي ته ډيري فائدي ميلاو شوي دي ځکه چي په سيمه کښي ګراونډ نه وو۔ يو ځائي کس مکيش په دي حقله ټي اين اين ته اوويل۔
“هلکان او مشران ډيرخوشحاله دي ځکه چي دي سيمي ته ګراونډ نزدي شو، دي ګراونډ کښي فټبال، باسکټ بال او والي بال کورټونه هم جوړ شو دي نه علاوه اتهليټس دپاره پکښي هم ځائي جوړ شواو مونږ د افسرانو ډيره شکريه ادا کوو چي مونږ ته ئي دومره توجه راکړه”

کرم ایجنسی کے گورنمنٹ ہائی سکول بگن میں قائم کھیل کے میدان کی وجہ سے بچوں کی پڑھائی متاثرہ ہورہی ہے۔ سکول کے ہیڈماسٹر سید رحیم سمیت دیگر اساتذہ کا کہناہے کہ کھیل کے میدان کی وجہ سے سکول کے بچوں کو فائدے کی بجائے نقصان ہورہاہے کیونکہ میدان میں کھیلنے کےلئے باہر سے کھلاڑی آتے ہیں اور کھیل کے دوران شور غل کی وجہ سے بچوں کی پڑھائی متاثرہوتی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ سٹیڈیم کی تعمیر کی مخالفت کی تھی تاہم انتظامیہ نے سٹیڈیم کی تعمیر کو نہیں روکا۔ مقامی لوگوں اور کھلاڑی کے مطابق سٹیڈیم کی تعمیر سے علاقہ کے کھلاڑیوں کو بہت فائدہ ہوا ہے کیونکہ یہاں پر کھیل کا کوئی میدان نہیں تھا۔ اس حوالے سے پولیٹیکل محرر عاشق کا کہناہے کہ فاٹا سیکرٹریٹ کے حکام نے سٹیڈیم کےلئے جگہ کا انتخاب کیا تھا اور موجودہ جگہ سے زیادہ موزوں جگہ نہیں تھی، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ کھلاڑیوں کو آگاہ کیا ہے کہ وہ صبح کے وقت کھیل کے لئے نہ آئے اور شوربھی نہ کریں۔ واضح رہے کہ مذکورہ سٹیڈیم گزشتہ سال 70 لاکھ روپے کی لاگت سے تیار کیا گیا ہے۔
