Four militants killed in US drone attack in Kurram

KURRAM AGENCY, 22 February: Four militants were killed and one other injured in a US drone attack in Shaheedano Dhand area near the Pak-Afghan border in Kurrram Agency on Monday morning, official sources said.

According to sources in the political administration the US pilot-less drone fired missiles on Afghan Taliban hideouts in the border area, resultantly, four militants were killed and one injured.

Sources added that three houses and two vehicles were also destroyed in the attack.

It merits a mention here that the Afghan capital will host the fourth round of quadrilateral talks tomorrow (Tuesday) to devise strategy for resumption of peace dialogue between the Afghanistan government and Taliban. The meeting will be attended by emissaries from Pakistan, Afghanistan, China and United States.
