Durrani camp IDPs complain of unavailability of facilities
SADA, 04 February:(Anwar Shah Orakzai) The internally displaced tribesmen residing in Durrani IDPs Camp in Kurram Agency have been complaining of unavailability of facilities in the camp.
“Due to extreme cold, most of the people particularly children have fallen ill as neither the government nor the UNHCR provided us warm clothing during the winter,” an inhabitant of the camp told TNN.
He said they use to light fire in the evening to get warm but it is unaffordable to them to purchase woods from the market.
“The government usually provides us winter items in summer whereas items needed in summer are given in winter. So far, we are not given warm clothing,” another tribesman complained.
When contacted, an official of the Fata Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) told TNN that they had been providing necessary items to the IDPs on regular basis and assured that the grievances of the camp inhabitants would be addressed.
It merits a mention here that about 600 families, mostly from the adjacent Tirah valley of Khyber Agency have been residing in the camp for the last three years as their areas are yet to be cleared by the government.

د کرمي ايجنسئ دوراني کيمپ کډوال د سهولياتو د نشتوالي ګيلي کوي او وائي چي د يخ موسم له وجي د مشکلاتو سره مخ دي۔ دغه متاثرين وائي چي په کيمپ کښي د يخ موسم نه بچ کيدو لپاره نه د اوور انګيټئ شته او نه ګرمي جامي۔ په دے کيمپ کښي قريبا د شپږ سوا پوري کورنئ ميشته دي چي پکښې لوئي شمير کښې ماشومان او زنانه دي۔ ټي اين اين سره خبرو کښي د دراني کيمپ کډوالو د حکومت نه په سمدستي توګه د يخنئ نه بچ کيدو انتظاماتو غوښتنه کړي ده۔
“ماشومان مو د يخنئ نه تباه شو د شپي ورته لرګي بل کړو خو هغه هم په پيسو اخلو ۔ مونږ ته اوسه پوري ساړه نه بچکيدو لپاره نه خو د يواين ايچ سي آر لخوا څه ميلاو شوي دي او نه حکومت طرف نه ، هرکال مونږ ته د ګرمئ څيزونه جمي کښي راکئ او يخنئ څيزونه ګرمئ کښي راکئ”
بلخواه د کرمي ايجنسئ د ايف ډي ايم اے مشر مجاهد علي ويلي دي چي هر کال متاثرينو ته د يخ نه بچ کيدو سامان ورکولي کيږي او د دوي ټولي ګيلي به ختمولي شي۔
