People Suffer As Power Supply Remains Suspended In Kurram

SADDA, 1 December: Power supply is suspended in Kurram Agency for the last four days due to which the people are facing many problems.
The local people said water is not available in homes and mosques and business activities have also come to a standstill.
Sajid, a local resident, told TNN that women travel long distances on foot to fetch water on their heads for domestic use. He said students and employees also remain reluctant to go to schools and offices as there is no electricity to iron the clothes. He said communication system has also been affected and the local people cannot contact anyone as there is no charge in their mobile phones.
“There is no water pump and well near our houses and the canal is also far away. It is very unfortunate that our women had to go out for water in this situation. This power suspension has made our lives very difficult,” he said.
A senior official of Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) in Kurram said power supply has been disconnected due to fault in main transformer in Thall. He said work on repair of the transformer is underway.

کرم ايجنسۍ کښې د تيرو څلورو ورځو راهسي د بجلۍ نشتوالي له وجي اولس ستونزو سره مخ دي۔ د ځائي اولس ترمخه د بجلئ نشتوالي له وجې که يو خوا جماعتونو او کورنو کښې اوبه نشته نو بلخوا د خلقو کاروبارونه هم په ټپه ولاړ دي۔ يو ځائي اوسيدونکي ساجد ټې اين اين ته اووئيل چې د بجلې نشتوالي له وجي د دوي زنانه بے ستره شوې ځکه چي د لرے لرے ځايونو نه په اوبو راوړو مجبور دې او بغير استرۍ کپړو له وجې ماشومان سکولونو ته او لوئي دفترونو ته د تلو نه ډډه کوي۔ ولې موبائيل کښې د چارج ختميدو په وجه د دوي رشته دارو سره رابطے هم ختمې شوې دي
” نزدې علاقه کښي نه پمپ شته، نه کوهۍ شته او نهر هم زمونږ نه ډير لرې دې۔ دا ځمونږ ډېره بد قسمتي ده چې زنانه بے ستره شوې دي ځکه چې اوبو راوړو لپاره ډيرے لرې لرې ځي او چې واپس کورته ته راځي نو ډيرو ستونزو سره مخ شوې وي۔ اوبه نشتوالي له وجې زمونږ ژوند ډير زيات ګران شوې دې”۔
بلخوا د کرم ايجنسۍ واپډا يو مقامي مشر وئيلی دي چې بجلي په ټل کښې د لوئي ټرانسفرمر خرابيدو له وجې نشته او په مرمت ئي کار شروع دی.
