Governor Jhagra announces compensation for victims of coalmine collapse
PESHAWAR, 14 March: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has announced Rs300,000 compensation amount for the families of each of the miners who got killed inside a coalmine in Orakzai Agency. The governor also announced Rs100,000 each for the injured laborers.
According to an official handout, Governor Jhagra visited the Khyber Teaching Hospital here on Sunday evening and inquired about the miners admitted in the burn unit of the health facility.
The governor expressed solidarity with all the bereaved families and prayed for the early recovery of the miners. He also offered Fateha for those died in the incident.
Meanwhile while replying to TNN’s correspondent regarding repatriation of the internally displaced people of Fata, the governor said about 200,000 families have been sent to their homes so far while the remaining 150,000 families would repatriated till November this year.
He said the government has set December deadline for the complete settlement of the displaced people but hopefully the process would be completed well before the time.

په دی موقع د ټی این این همکار انور شاه له اړخه د قبائلی علاقو بیکوره شوی خلقو واپسئ عمل په اړه د پوښتنی جواب کښي ګورنر څه داسی اوویل” د دوه لاکهه نه زیات بیکوره شوی خاندانونه خپلو سیمو ته واپس استولې شوی دی او د یو نیم لاکه نورو د واپسئ عمل راوان دې. مونږ دا عمل د راوان کال آخری پوری ترسره کولو هدف ایخودې وو ولی امید دې چی ټول متاثرین نومبر پوری خپلو سیمو ته واپس واستلې شی”
