Mushaira organized to promote peace through literature

SADA, 15 March: Tribesmen here arranged a Pashto mushaira in a bid to promote peace and love through literature.

Poets and poetry loving people from as far as Hangu, Dursamand, Tal, Sada ad Orakzai Agency participated in the mushaira which was held in Bagan near here.

The poets presented their verses and received accolade from the charged and hungry for peace audience.

Muqesh Khan of the Adabi Tolana, who recited his verses in the mushaira, told TNN that Pakhtuns are peace loving people but unfortunately terror and war is brought to our area which shattered the peaceful environment of the tribal territories.

“By holding the mushaira, we made an attempt to bring back smile on the faces of the tribesmen and make them realized that peace has returned to the area,” he said.

Another poet who participated in the literary event said such events play a catalyst role in bring change in the thinking of people.

“People love poetry and they listen to poets with great patience. That is why the impact of a poet’s words is instant and powerful,” he remarked.

د کرمي ايجنسئ بګن سيمه کښې تيره ورځ  د آمن او د پختو ژبي پرمختګ په نوم يوه مشاعره شوي ده۔ د بګن پختو ادبي ټولني د سيورے لاندی شوي دغه مشاعره کښي د اورکزئي ايجنسئ ،هنګو،ټل ،درسمند ،صده او او نورو سیمو هم يوشميرشاعرانو ګډون اوکړو۔ د ادبي ټولني مشر مقيش خان ټي اين اين ته اوويل چي پختان ډير پرامنه خلق دي ولي تيري څه مودي راهسي په پختانه سيمه کښي بدامني خوره شوي ده ولي دوائي غواړي چي يو ځلي بيا په دي خاوره کښي آمن او مينه راشي۔ مشاعره کښي شریک يو شاعرپه دي حقله ټي اين اين ته اوويل۔

“داقسمه غونډي په سيمه کښي بدلون راولي، که هغه د امن حوالي سره وي ، که هغه د ميني محبت حوالي سره وي او که د ليک لوست په اړه وي ځکه چي شاعران څه ليکي هغه د خلقو په ذهنونو يو اثرپريباسي
