Kurram admin sets three-day deadline for unregistered Afghan families
SADA, 17 March: The political administration of Kurram Agency has set three-day deadline for unregistered Afghan refugees to leave the area otherwise legal actions would be taken against them.
The political agent of the agency and commander of the security forces wing told a delegation of Afghan refugees in Tal fort the other day that all those unregistered Afghan refugees who have been living in the agency must repatriate to their country voluntarily within three days, failing which the local authorities would take legal actions against them.
According to an official of the local administration, about 400 unregistered Afghan families have been residing in the agency while majority of them had left the area.
