Students Of Nursing Colleges Protest Against KMU Over Third Semester Result

PESHAWAR, 25 October: Students of nursing colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration outside the Khyber Medical University (KMU) against the administration for declaring all the students as unsuccessful in one of the papers of the third semester.
As many as 315 students from five nursing colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa appeared in the third semester exams conducted by the KMU but none of them succeeded to pass the pharmacology paper.
The protesting students were of the view that it was beyond their understanding that all the students had failed in the paper.
They chanted slogans against the university administration and demanded the removal of the vice chancellor and controller examinations of the university. They also demanded of the government to hold inquiry into the matter.
Later, the protesters dispersed peacefully after the university administration assured them verbally that the matter would be probed.
