Sports Gala concludes in Kurram

SADDA, 13 January: The Quaid-e-Azam Sports Gala concluded in Central Kurram Agency on Tuesday.
The concluding ceremony of the sports gala was attended by Political Agent Amjid Ali Khan, Commandant Kurram Militia Umar Malik, tribal elders and other people in large number. The area people on the occasion presented Athanr dance.
In the final match of the volleyball competition, New Kohsar High School defeated Manato team, while Teen Terah Manato won cricket competition.
A spectator on the occasion told TNN that he really enjoyed the sports gala in his area after a gap of eight years. “The government should construct sports grounds in our area. We suffered a lot due to militancy and now the area people deserve a normal life,” he said.
Another spectator said the government should provide more opportunities to local players to display their talent. He said the spectators were happy over presence of the political agent and commandant in the area.
The sports gala in Kurram Agency was organised after a gap of eight years
